Join our team at Geotherm Electric as we revolutionize the way industrial plants approach heat decarbonization! We are seeking a motivated intern to assist in enhancing our automated engineering platform. This platform enables industrial plants to quickly and cost-effectively identify the most optimal strategies for decarbonizing their heat processes. As an intern, you will focus on improving our configuration generation capabilities, developing equipment models, or enhancing our financial and supplier comparison modules.

What you'll do

  • Assist in optimizing our configuration generation algorithm to efficiently simulate over 1 million configurations while maintaining performance

  • Develop and refine equipment models, such as heat pumps and thermal energy storage systems

  • Contribute to the creation of financial models for various equipment types to enhance our business case generation

  • Collaborate on improving the RFP (Request for Proposal) module for streamlined supplier comparisons

  • Assist in developing process flow diagram visualization tools to enhance user understanding of proposed configurations

Requirements

  • Strong analytical mind and problem-solving skills.
