Four key approaches we use to maximize the value of your waste heat
Recover
Directly transfers heat from waste sources to where it's needed using heat exchangers. This method is highly efficient and cost-effective, suitable for industries with a direct match between waste heat and process heating requirements.
No temperature limits.
Store
Captures and stores waste heat, enhancing production flexibility by allowing for energy use when most needed. This approach is valuable for managing energy efficiency and reducing costs in industries with fluctuating demand. No temperature limits.
Upgrade
Elevate low-grade heat to higher temperatures, up to 200°C, making it usable for many industrial processes using Heat Pumps or Mechanical Vapor Recompression (MVR). Suitable for industries looking to leverage low-grade waste heat.
Heat to electricity
An Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) converts waste heat into electricity for temperatures as low as 80 °C. Steam Turbines can be applied for higher temperatures. This method is ideal for generating additional power from waste heat, contributing to energy savings and operational efficiency.
